- Compatibility with Trimble DA2 GNSS Receiver (iOS exclusive)
- Access to internal phone/tablet GPS/GNSS for geo-referencing data
- Ability to reference data to global coordinate reference systems
- All-new coordinate system management interface (+ 3-point option)
- Fill Volume tool for calculating material quantities to fill holes (beta)
- 2D drawing feature for simple sketching and exporting to DXF (alpha)

Now Supporting the Trimble DA2 GNSS Receiver

Today we're very glad to formally announce the release of support for the Trimble DA2 high-accuracy GNSS receiver in Dot3D 6.0. By pairing this powerful hardware with the latest Dot3D (Prime) software, users are now able to leverage real-time GNSS/RTK trajectories while scanning in Dot3D. This GNSS information is then intelligently applied to Dot3D's optimization, automatically improving accuracy for large-scale outdoor scans without survey control, and adding automatic geo-referencing options to all outdoor scans. The Dot3D + DA2 kit shown above is currently available in central Europe from our partners at Laserscanning Europe. For additional purchasing options, please contact us.
Dot3D Prime will also be adding support for other third party high-accuracy GNSS systems in the near future. Please stay tuned for updates soon.

- "Dot3D Pro for iOS" is now Dot3D Pro (remains iOS only)
- "Dot3D Pro" is now Dot3D Prime (now available for all 3 platforms)
