Dot3D exports directly to RCS on Windows. RCS point clouds can then be attached directly into nearly any Autodesk project.
Native DP files can also be imported directly into Autodesk ReCap (v3.1 or higher) and exported as RCS files from there. Please click here for a step-by-step guide on this process. Within ReCap, you can crop, measure, annotate, and much more. With the release of v3.1, you are also able to manually register DotProduct data with traditional tripod scan data during import.
It is recommended that you dial down the point cloud decimation during both import and export from Autodesk ReCap.
