As phone-based Dot3D scanning continues to grow, we are glad to announce support for the iOgrapher Multi Case. This convenient hardware accessory enables use of Dot3D with any supported phone and any supported 3D camera, including the DPI-X, DPI-XSR, L515, D455, and more. For extra large phones / phone cases (larger than 160x80 mm), we are also now offering the Multi Case Adapter, a custom insert for secure magnetic mounting of larger phones or phone cases. New DPI Light Kit: Now compatible with mounting to nearly any tablet
Continuing on the theme of improved compatibility, we are glad to share that our DPI Light Kit has been upgraded to include adhesive GoPro mounting capabilities. This adds support for mounting to nearly any tablet (or any surface for that matter), not just to DPI Kits or other cold shoe / 1/4"-20 mounts. Please click here for more info and photos. |

Dot3D™ Tip of the Month: Take advantage of the orthographic and fixed viewpoint options when cropping your 3D data. By looking straight down on a floor plan view or straight across at a side angle, you can easily crop ceilings and walls, identify and remove stray points, and more.
