2023 has brought extensive improvements to Dot3D across the board. With new updates almost every month of the year (often several), we've seen a lot of enhancements both under-the-hood and in terms of brand new feature additions. While we're glad to be delivering continually improved results from scans of all shapes and sizes via extensive regular updates to our core technology, we've also introduced a lot of brand new capabilties over the past year and are here today to check in with a quick recap at year's end. We want to make sure you're all up to speed and taking full advantage of each of these features, large and small.

1. Lat/Long referencing now available (U.S. only, converts to State Plane coordinates)
2. Ability to delete AprilTags and AprilTag detections in the scene viewer (targets tab)
3. Dot3D will now flag potentially bogus AprilTag detections in the Targets tab
4. Ability to set a custom thumbnails for scenes
5. Option to enter the name of the scan right after hitting the new-scan button
6. Photo annotation export, including photos alongside JSON file of the annotations
7. Option to export 3D sensor RGB frames
8. Ability to load auto-saved raw version of a scan from the 3D scene view.
9. New protection of Autosave files (in Autosave folder) from being overwritten
10. Connection to 3D CAD/BIM conversion services via new button within Dot3D
11. Connection to 2D floor plan conversion services via new button within Dot3D
12. Addition of File>Export option on iOS (in addition to Share>Export)
13. Dot3D 5.0+ for Windows (large scenes, fast optimization, new UI, new targeting, etc.)
14. New cropping capability added to Dot3D 5.0+ (iOS & Windows)
15. New Hiding capability (crop but keep points)
16. Improved compatibility with Z+F IMAGER registration workflows
