Comparison Data: DP scan data from entire home now available
Please click here for our latest sample data collection, including DP data from all four of our currently recommended 3D cameras, captured across various sections of an entire house. These data sets were presented in our recent video on Dot3D Scanning an Entire Home with the DPI-10, DPI-XSR, & Intel® RealSense™ and are now available for direct download in DP and E57 format for your review. Please click here to download the data (below the video) for viewing in Dot3D (free download). You may export to other file formats as needed from Dot3D. Each data set covers a different area of the home, highlighting ideal scenarios for deployment of each camera. If you'd also like to review comparison data of the same scene with each camera, click here. |

3D scanning for precast concrete process monitoring and QC
The Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) recently published an excellent paper covering the use of Structured-light three-dimensional scanning for process monitoring and quality control in precast concrete production. It's great to see this analysis of a practical application for the technology, similar to several current Dot3D client deployments. |
AsBuild3D: DP to BIM services for as low as $80 per scan
We've recently been experimenting with several service-based scan to BIM conversion services and have been very impressed with the results. Please click here for an excellent example from an apartment DPI-10 scan, processed and returned in under 24 hours by AsBuild3D. |
